Sébastien Dhavernas is an actor, director, producer, and artistic entrepreneur with a career of more than fifty years across theatre, television, film, musical theatre, advertising, dubbing, and improvisation. He trained at the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Montréal and later earned a diploma in television scriptwriting from INIS.
Since 1974, he has performed in French- and English-language productions, directed around forty professional stage productions, taught in several theatre schools, and released two albums as a singer-songwriter. He has also adapted approximately one hundred works for dubbing and directed nearly three hundred film and television dubbing projects.
His commitment to arts governance and public policy includes leadership roles with theatre producers, SODEC, the Union des artistes, and the Canadian Artists and Producers Professional Relations Tribunal.
